Two arrested after car crashes into electrical pole in Tonbridge

Two people have been arrested after a car crashed into an electrical pole.

A road in Tonbridge remains closed while power network workers repair the damage caused by the crash early this morning.

Police were called to Cuckoo Lane shortly after 3am following the collision, and found that the vehicle had damaged a pole by the side of the country lane.

UK Power Networks are currently at the scene and the road will remain closed until the area is made safe.

Two men have been arrested and remain in custody following the incident.
