Canvey Island v Tonbridge

Tonbridge Angels will be aiming to bounce back from a dismal home defeat with a win at Canvey Island tonight.

The Angels slumped to a 2-0 loss at home to newly-promoted Tooting & Mitcham at Longmead on Saturday - a game which saw three Angels players injured.

Summer signings Ade Olorunda, Lewis Hamilton and Leon Legge all sustained injuries - with Olorunda likely to be out for some time.

Legge, who opened the scoring by putting into his own net - was replaced by Hamilton shortly before half-time but the former Derby man himself had to be stretchered off later in the game.

Carl Rook (groin) missed the Tooting game but his replacement, Jamie Cade, was largely ineffective.

Keeper Lee Worgan remains sidelined through suspension for the trip to Essex to face the Gulls, who lie two places above the Angels in ninth in the Ryman League Premier Division.
