Tonbridge face their former player Dan Bennett this weekend - just a fortnight after his departure.

The midfielder rejoined Merstham after asking to leave Longmead and Angels go there in the Bostik Premier on Saturday.

Tonbridge boss McKimm said: "I've spoken to Dan since he's left and there's no hard feelings.

"Without a doubt he's a talented player - I wouldn't have signed him in the first place if I didn't think he could hurt teams.

"He's a good player and a good addition for them. It's good for them to have him back. He's played his best football at Merstham."

Angels have boosted their defensive options by signing teenage centre-half Paul Kalambayi on a month's loan from AFC Wimbledon.

He made his debut last weekend when Angels came from a goal down to beat play-off contenders Staines 2-1.

It means Angels won't have to rush George Beaven back from injury although he is closing in on a return after playing in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Tuesday night.

McKimm said: "Paul did very well on Saturday. He's only 18 and has played one first-team game for AFC Wimbledon.

"He's played a lot of under-23s football and with his size and stature they decided for the next stage of his development he should get out and play some games."

Alex Akrofi and Sam Bantick scored the goals that sunk Staines last weekend.

Victory ended a run of three defeats for 11th-placed Angels and halted the visitors' fifth-match winning streak.

McKimm said: "I'm so pleased for the lads. They worked hard and you could see the pleasure on their faces at the end.

"They showed great character and deserved it."
