Last gasp screamer sends Angels through

Tonbridge Angels 2 - 1 Hastings United

A SUPERB Luke Piscina goal four minutes into added time sent Tonbridge Angels into the FA Cup second round qualifying at the expense of Hastings United at Longmead.

Sean Ray had given the visitors the lead on the hour when he rose to head a corner past the helpless Angels keeper Jerome John.

But the home side hit back when Danny Lye was in the right place to turn the ball in after a goalmouth scramble following a Tony Dolby corner with 10 minutes to go.

And Piscina won it at the death when Piscina cut inside and drilled a shot in off the post from a narrow angle.

Angels will now face a tought trip to Southern League Division 1 East side Fisher Athletic in the second round qualifying.

The tie will be played on Saturday, September 24 at 3pm.
