Tommy Warrilow hoping to bring a player in on loan

Tonbridge manager Tony Warrilow takes his patched-up side to mid-table Ryman League Premier Division opponents Boreham Wood on Saturday.

Warrilow's men surrendered an eight-match unbeaten sequence in losing 3-1 to Sutton last Saturday but made amends by taking Carshalton’s unbeaten away record with a 1-0 win at Longmead on Tuesday.

The Tonbridge boss will be hoping to include a new striker as replacement for suspended leading scorer Carl Rook for the Boreham Wood match.

“I’m speaking to a manager about bringing a player in on loan but it’s about finance,” said Warrilow.

Midfielder Tommy Tyne may return after being out for two weeks with a thigh injury but defender Phil Starkey is doubtful with a knee injury.
