Drugs and cash seized after van stopped in Tunbridge Wells

Cocaine and £2,500 were seized after Kent Police stopped a van in Tunbridge Wells.

The vehicle was first spotted by patrols in Priory Road, Tonbridge, on Friday night and reported as suspicious.

It was tracked by officers and stopped in Crescent Road, Tunbridge Wells.

Two men aged 22 and a man aged 18, all from the Tonbridge, were arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs.

Substances believed to contain cocaine were recovered from one of the suspects, following a search in custody.

Further suspicious substances, including tablets, were seized after search warrants were executed at properties linked to the two other men. A number of mobile phones have also been take away for testing.

All three have been released, pending further investigation.
