Flytipping investigation launched after children's toys including Little Tikes Cozy Coupe found dumped in Ayleswade Lane, Frittenden

A flytipping probe has been launched after kid's toys including a trampoline and a classic Cozy Coupe car were found dumped in the middle of a rural road.

Ayleswade Lane in Frittenden, near Tunbridge Wells will be shut for up to a week.

It's been closed to allow Kent County Council's Highways team to carry out a flytipping investigation.

Clearance works will also start between the junction Bell Lane and Cold Harbour Farm.

The incident was reported at 11am after an array of children's toys including a Thomas the Tank Engine and a classic red and yellow Little Tikes Cozy Coupe were found dumped in the middle of the lane.

The road is expected to be shut for up to seven days until August 14.

Motorists are being urged to use an alternate route where possible.
