A fire which destroyed a barn in Rusthall is being treated as suspicious.

Crews used main jets and water from a hydrant when they were called out to the barn and stable block used as lock-ups in Lower Green Road in Rusthall at just after 2am today.

The barn was destroyed by fire but crews managed to prevent it spreading to adjoining properties.

There were no reported casualties.
