Officers seized 11 wraps of cocaine along with a mobile phone and £175. The cocaine had an estimated street value of between £440 and £550.

Dalipi, of no fixed address, was arrested and when the phone was checked, it contained texts connected to drug dealing.

The 21-year-old was charged with possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply and being concerned in the supply of drugs.

He pleaded guilty at Maidstone Crown Court and was sentenced to three years in prison on Friday.

Chief Inspector Peter Steenhuis said: "My officers are always alert for visiting drug dealers and were quick to spot Dalipi on his bike.

"A search located the cocaine and this criminal will now be spending some time in prison.

"We will also be taking steps to confiscate the money in his possession.

"My message to those who seek to deal hard drugs in our town is clear; it is only a matter of time before you are brought to justice."
