Southborough: Cyclist struck while crossing the road in 'hit-and-run'

Officers are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was hit by a car while crossing the road in Southborough.

The victim, a 21-year-old man, was crossing Prospect Road at the junction with Broomhill Park Road on his bike when he reported that a car had struck him just after 4.30pm on Tuesday.

The car has been described as an old silver estate car which left the scene.
