Man arrested and possible cocaine found after car stopped in Camden Road, Tunbridge Wells

At least 30 bags containing suspected Class A drugs have been seized after a car was stopped.

Police on patrol in Camden Road, Tunbridge Wells, carried out a spot check on a car at around 1.15pm last Friday.

They found a plastic bag and inside were more than 30 smaller bags suspected to contain cocaine.

Cash totalling £460 and two mobile phones were also seized.

The driver, a 28-year-old man of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs with intent to supply and driving without insurance.

The car was seized and the man was later bailed to return to the police station on Friday, July 20.
