Three fire crews spent and hour fighting a blaze which had engulfed a building and a car.

Firefighters were called to the scene in Queen Street, Paddock Wood just before 2pm.

The original reports suggested an outbuilding alight, however when fire crews arrived at the scene they also found a car and grass on fire.

Fire crews had to use breathing apparatus as they fought the flames with hoses, flexi-packs and beaters.

At the height of the fire, three engines were at the scene.
