Tunbridge Wells accident: Girl flown to hospital in London after being hit by a car

A young girl was flown to hospital after being hit by a car in Tunbridge Wells.

Emergency services were called to Linden Park Road just before 4pm to reports of a collision.

The road was partially blocked while ambulance crews treated the girl, who was a pedestrian.

She was then airlifted to King's College Hospital in London.

An ambulance spokesman said she suffered injuries, not thought to be life-threatening, to her abdomen and upper leg.
