Upper Grosvenor Road, Tunbridge Wells: Railway bridge man arrested near High Brooms station

A man is in custody after being spotted on the edge of a railway bridge in Tunbridge Wells this morning.

The 24-year-old from Cardiff was arrested on suspicion of causing a public nuisance after officers from Kent Police and British Transport Police were called to Upper Grosvenor Road shortly before 4.30am.

It followed reports of concerns for a mans welfare, after the suspect was seen near High Brooms Station.

Police arrested the man shortly after 7am.
