Tunbridge Wells man banned from roads after being stopped over the limit in Beulah Road

A man who was caught driving nearly three times the limit has been banned from the roads for two years.

Frederick Harriman, of Beulah Road, Tunbridge Wells, drove a Toyota in Vale Road in June.

When stopped, the 26-year-old gave a breath test of 95 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.

The man drove away from court moments after being banned

He pleaded guilty to drink driving when he appeared before Maidstone magistrates on July 7.

He was banned from driving for two years and must pay a £360 fine, a £150 criminal courts charge, £85 costs and a £36 victim surcharge.
