19-year-old Alex Underwood, of Tunbridge Wells, jailed by magistrates for possession of cannabis

A Tunbridge Wells man has been sentenced by Magistrates for possession of cannabis.

19-year-old Alex Underwood pleaded guilty on March 27 at West Kent Magistrates’ Court, Sevenoaks.

He pleaded guilty to possessing the drugs with intent to supply.

The case was heard at West Kent Magistrates’ Court.

On February 5 the man, of Nevill Terrace, was found to have a quantity of cannabis in his possession at Bellfield Road.

Magistrates sentenced Underwood to 56 days in prison, suspended for 12 months, and ordered him to pay £85 costs and an £80 victim surcharge.

The drugs will be forfeited and destroyed.
