Man seriously injured after collision with taxi in London Road, Tunbridge Wells

A 19-year-old has been left with serious injuries after being hit by a taxi in Tunbridge Wells.

The pedestrian was struck by a white Toyota Prius on London Road near to the junction with York Road.

He was taken to a London hospital, where he continues to be treated for serious injuries.

It happened at 6.55pm on Tuesday.

Officers are urging anyone who saw the taxi or the pedestrian before the collision, or who may have dashcam footage, to get in touch.

They are particularly keen to speak to a woman who was walking a small dog near the scene and who may have witnessed the collision.
