Gordon Locke charged with murder of Gordon Farnes in Sherwood Road, Tunbridge Wells

A 28-year-old man has been charged with murder after a man was killed in a quiet residential street.

Gordon Locke was arrested yesterday after police were called to Sherwood Road in Tunbridge Wells at 10.42am.

They found Gordon Farnes had sustained serious injuries and died at the scene.

Officers recovered a knife.

The two are thought to have been known to each other.

Locke, of no fixed address, remains in custody and will appear by virtual link before Medway Magistrates’ Court later today.
