A new doggy day care centre with a puppy pre-school, a zen garden and plenty of spaces to run around has opened in Tunbridge Wells.

Bruce's site in Pembury welcomed its first canine customers on November 30 with pups making the most of the agility obstacles and sensory zones.

The centre in Maidstone Road, which is the first to open in Kent, also holds weekly enrichment themes and has a designated puppy school for younger dogs to play and learn social skills.

Every pooch gets an allocated carer to bond with during their days at the centre and owners can keep up to date with their four-legged friend's progress by checking for updates on the app.

It also provides a doggy bus service offering drop offs and pick ups for those travelling from Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and Sevenoaks.

Bruce Casalis, founder of the company, said, “We are excited to be offering Bruce’s doggy day care services to the pups of Tunbridge Wells and happy to now be part of the canine community here.

"Bruce’s ethos is to unleash happiness and enrich the lives of dogs in our care.

"There has been great demand for doggy day care services since lockdown, when many families brought home new dogs, and it’s heartening that so many new owners are committed to their pets’ wellbeing.

"We’re looking forward to meeting the dogs of Kent!”
