A teenager suffered facial injuries when he was assaulted in an alleyway - but has no memory of the attack.

The 18-year-old was involved in an "altercation" in Newton Road, Tunbridge Wells, which led to him being set upon by two men.

The incident happened between 2.30am and 3.13am on Friday, July 22, but details have only just been released as police issue CCTV images.

PC Joshua Maybank, an investigating officer, said: "It is reported that an altercation took place between the men, but the victim does not have any recollection of the assault, nor can he give any descriptions.

"So we would like to speak to the two men in the images in order to piece together the timeline of events."

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 01622 604100, quoting reference YY/16038/16.
