Police appeal for witnesses after woman seriously injured in crash near Tunbridge Wells

Police are asking for witnesses to come forward following a car crash near Tunbridge Wells that left a woman suffering serious injuries.

They were called to crash involving van and a white Mini on the A264 Ashurst Road in Ashurst.

The Mini ended up in a ditch and the driver, a 23 year-old-woman, was taken to a London hospital by air ambulance.

Her injuries are described as serious but not life threatening.

The crash happened at 10.29am close to the junction with Fordcombe Road.

Officers investigating the collision are keen to contact people at the scene who may have important information but who left before they spoke to police.
