Police and ambulance crews descend on Flamefest site in Tunbridge Wells

A man has died at the campsite of a "kink rave" festival in Tunbridge Wells.

Flamefest was being staged at Brokes Wood in High Brooms over the weekend, and finished on Sunday.

But emergency services were called this morning around 6.15am after reports of a medical incident.

A man in his fifties was pronounced dead at the scene off Powder Mill Lane. His death is being treated as unexplained at this stage.

A woman was also found unconscious and received medical treatment before being airlifted to Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury.

Police are making inquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the death.

The festival crew were expected to be clearing up the site today.
