Tunbridge Wells: Police helicopter joins in hunt for man after chase in North Farm

Police are on the hunt for a driver who led officers on a chase before dumping his car.

The force's helicopter was used during the pursuit of the man who failed to stop this morning in the North Farm area of Tunbridge Wells.

His car was found abandoned in Stone Street and detectives are searching for the driver and any passengers.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: "At around 9.50am , police requested a car to stop in the North Farm area of Tunbridge Wells.

"The vehicle failed to stop for officers and drove away from the scene. It was later found abandoned in Stone Street and a search is ongoing to locate the driver and any passengers."
