Dudley Road closed and woman arrested after serious assault reported in Tunbridge Wells

A woman has been arrested after reports a man was seriously assaulted at a property in Tunbridge Wells.

Kent Police was called at 1.05pm to an address in Dudley Road.

Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended and the man was airlifted to a London hospital.

The suspect, a woman in her 30s, was arrested nearby and taken into custody.

Police remain at the scene and temporary road closures are in place at both ends of Dudley Road.

No children have been injured and the man and the woman are known to each other.
