Tunbridge Wells: Man charged after alleged assault on store manager and police officer

A store manager and police officer were allegedly assaulted in Tunbridge Wells this week.
Police were called out the shop in Calverley Road at around 5pm on on Monday to reports of a disturbance.
One man was arrested at the scene.
David Richards of Emerald Walk, Tunbridge Wells, was arrested and subsequently charged on one count of assault and another of assaulting a police officer.
The 67-year-old was bailed to appear before Sevenoaks Magistrates Court on Tuesday, September 18.
