Suspected drug dealer in Tunbridge Wells due to appear in Medway Magistrates Court

A suspected drug dealer is due to appear in court today after police stopped his car in Tunbridge Wells.

Officers in plain clothes arrested Abdul Cakali after they approached a Vauxhall Astra that had stopped in Crundwell Road, Southborough.

After completing a search of the 22-year-old and the car they found 42 wraps of what was believed to be cocaine.

Medway Magistrates' Court (13124629)

Cakali was arrested and later charged with possessing cocaine with intent to supply, having a false identity document and driving without a licence or insurance.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Medway Magistrates Court by video link today.
