Tunbridge Wells teenager appears in court charged with murder of 19-year-old in south east London

A Tunbridge Wells teenager has been charged with murder after a stabbing in south east London.

Paul Akinnuoye, of Cobbett's Ride, was arrested and charged yesterday with the murder of Jordon Wright.

The 19-year-old appeared at Maidstone Magistrates' Court this morning and was remanded in custody.

Mr Wright, also 19, died after being stabbed in Blackheath at 8.10pm on Wednesday, April 19.

Akinnuoye is due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday.

He was first arrested on Wednesday, April 26 and released while inquiries continued.

Three other men - two aged 19 and one 20 - were arrested on suspicion of murder on May 4 and also released.
