Tunbridge Wells: Area hit by hooligan graffiti wave

Two men have been arrested following graffiti outbursts in Tunbridge Wells overnight.

Around 20 buildings were covered in Polish hooligan graffiti, and after viewing CCTV this morning Kent Police made two arrests.

The bright pink painted was plastered over 20 buildings around the area, with the large letters reading Wisla Sharks and Officials Hooligans.

Wisla Sharks hooligans are a group that follow the Polish football team Wisla Krakow.

Kent Police said "Two men were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage by officers on patrol in Tunbridge Wells on the night of Thursday 17 November.

"They are a 26-year-old from Tunbridge Wells and a 28-year-old of no fixed address.

"They were arrested in Mount Pleasant at 10.02pm and are currently in custody."

Caroline Auckland, of Tunbridge Wells commented "They should be made to repaint and remove all of their work now.

"Why should the individual retailer suffer."
