Police were called to an incident in Mount Pleasant in Tunbridge Wells in the early hours of this morning.

An 23-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of causing affray after a 999 call was made at 1.41am. Both remain in custody.

During the incident, a car was reported to have hit a stationary taxi. One man in the taxi was taken to hospital with injuries, fortunately not life-threatening.

Police said inquiries were ongoing.
