Woman charged over alleged BP thefts in Tunbridge Wells

Police have charged a woman with shop-lifting after meat and alcohol were stolen from a garage.

Elaine Morley, of York Road, Tunbridge Wells, was arrested on Tuesday, May 14.

The 42-year-old was later charged with five counts of theft.

The alleged offences took place between March 13 and April 28, when meat and alcohol are said to have been stolen from the BP service station shop in St John’s Road.

She was bailed to appear before Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on June 14.
