A woman was cut free from her car after a multi-vehicle crash.

Three cars were involved in a collision on the A21 in Lamberhurst, near Royal Tunbridge Wells.

Police, fire crews and paramedics were called to the scene shortly before 7.26pm yesterday.

A woman was found trapped in one of the vehicles with injuries to her shoulder and knee.

Firefighters used hydraulic rescue gear to gain access to the woman, who was transferred into the care of paramedics. Crews made the scene safe.
