A woman has reportedly suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car.

The accident is said to have happened near the Robin Hood pub in Sandhurst Road, Tunbridge Wells this evening.

Witnesses reported seeing police, ambulance and fire crews at the scene.

The woman is thought to have been taken to hospital in a serious condition.
