Crews tackle car fire after crash in Bedgebury Road, Goudhurst

A person was injured after a car crashed into a tree and became engulfed in flames.

Fire crews from Wadhurst were called to the car fire in Bedgebury Road, Goudhurst, on Friday at around 8.20pm.

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene to help Kent Fire and Rescue Service as snow fell across the county.

One person was injured when a car crashed into a tree and became engulfed in flames (6941637)

They spent two hours fighting the blaze which had stripped the paint and gutted the interior of the car following a crash.

One person was taken to hospital by SECAmb medics with minor injuries.

The fire was put out shortly after 10pm.
