Fog weather warning across Weald of Kent, Maidstone and Ashford

Drivers have been warned to expect fog patches across the county after the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning.

Motorists will face slower journey times and delays to bus and train services are possible.

The warning covers the Weald, Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and Sevenoaks, stretching as far as Maidstone and Ashford but misses areas like the Romney Marsh.

A fog warning covering part of Kent has been issued by the Met Office

Anyone heading to an airport should be wary of the possibility of delays or cancellations.

The warning will be in place until 11am this morning.
