A helicopter was brought in to help police search for a vulnerable missing person in Hawkhurst.

The chopper was called in at around 2am, and was assisting officers to scour open areas around the village.

Residents also reported a large police presence in Horns Road, near The Moor.

The helicopter was stood down but the person has not yet been found.
