Firefighters rescue injured man trapped in car after crash in Lurkins Rise, Goudhurst

A man was trapped in his car after a collision in Goudhurst.

The casualty was one of two people in the vehicle when it crashed in Lurkins Rise just after noon today.

A woman was unable to get out of the car but the man was unable to move because of his injuries.

Firefighters arrived and stablised the vehicle while he was assessed by ambulance crews. He was then removed using a spinal longboard.

The patient was then passed into the care of South East Coast Ambulance.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service left the scene at 12.45pm.
