A large shed blaze in a rural village was sparked by a neighbouring bonfire.
Two fire crews were called to Goudhurst Road in Staplehurst shortly after 4.30am today.
They wore breathing apparatus and used hose reel jets and a hydrant to extinguish the flames. They also had to remove a cylinder of potentially dangerous liquefied petroleum gas from the scene.
The fire is believed to have been caused by a neighbouring bonfire spreading to a hedge and the shed.
After extinguishing the blaze crews spent a further 45 minutes making the scene safe and left at around 6.15am.
