Man suffers broken jaw during robbery in Goods Station Road and Hill Street, Tunbridge Wells

A man in his 20s suffered a broken jaw after being surrounded by a group of masked teens during a reported robbery.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened on the corner of Goods Station Road and Hill Street in Tunbridge Wells.

On Tuesday (September 12) between 9.15pm and 9.45pm, a group of three or four males are alleged to have assaulted the victim after pinning him against a fence.

They are believed to be in their late teens and had their faces covered.

The man’s phone was stolen in the incident, but was later recovered by officers having been thrown into a nearby garden.
