Staff at a supermarket had to call the police after an argument broke out while a shopper tried to stockpile milk during the current snowstorm.
Police were called this morning to the Cooperative in Lenham to reports of a dispute involving three customers.
One man, who did not wish to be named, said their wife had seen a "full-blown argument" between the managers and a customer who was seeking to "selfishly stockpile milk".
A police spokesman said: "We were called at 9.52am regarding a minor dispute involving three customers at a shop in Faversham Road, Lenham.
"Advice was given to the shopkeeper and the customers left the premises having paid for their shopping. No offences were disclosed."
