A bottle of champagne signed by Boris Johnson and raffled off during a summer Tory tombola was won by the mother-in-law of Jacob Rees-Mogg.

The Kent Conservative Grand Summer Prize Draw sold at £2 per ticket and offered the chance to win a cash prixe of £500, lunch for two at Simpson’s in The Strand and a bottle of Pol Roger signed by Prime Minister Theresa May.

Mr Rees-Mogg’s mother-in-law, Lady Juliet Tadgell, was the recipient of the fifth-place prize; a bottle of Mumm Champagne emblazoned with Boris Johnson’s signature.
