Royal Mail commemorative flight from Headcorn Aerodrome

A flight celebrating Royal Mail's first air borne postal trip will launch from Headcorn aerodrome this morning.

A 1930s Tiger Moth will fly to Le Touquet in France to deliver letters from Kent children. The plane will then collect letters and return them to schools.

The flight was due to take place in July this year but due to terrorist attacks in France was postponed.
