Two stolen Land Rovers were recovered last night by rural task force officers.

Police have now seized three stolen Land Rovers in the past two weeks.

A burglary was reported yesterday in Five Oak Lane in Staplehurst. Officers attended the scene and inquiries led to the seizure of a Land Rover outside the property, which was believed to have been used by the suspects.

Checks on the vehicle confirmed it had previously been stolen from an address in Horsmonden.

On the same evening, patrols in Swanley spotted a Land Rover parked in Star Lane that they suspected had false number plates on.
