Emergency services were called to assist a woman who was trapped in her car in a ditch this morning.

They were called to Tilsden Lane, Cranbrook, at around 7.19am today.

The woman, who was freed by firefighters, was handed to the care of the ambulance service after her vehicle was stabilised.

The extent of any injuries are currently unclear.

One fire engine attended and left the scene shortly before 10am.
