Woman taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital with head injuries after being hit by car in Staplehurst High Street

A woman has been taken to hospital with head injuries after she was struck by a car this afternoon.
The accident happened at 3.13pm in Staplehurst High Street and police closed the road for an hour.
The woman was taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital by ambulance.
Her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
