The play area close to the Bluebell Cafe at this 170-acre Kent Country Parks site is extremely popular.

Trosley Park gets the thumbs up

Letting off steam is a specialty at this fresh open-air spot, so a great one for boisterous little boys and exuberant little girls alike.

While you wait, look out for the pretty Chalkland Blue butterfly as this is chalk grassland and is classified as a Site of Special Scientific Interest.

The park, in the very heart of the North Downs, was once part of the Trosley Towers Estate.

Address: Trosley Country Park, Waterlow Road, Vigo Village, Meopham, DA13 0SG.
