Fire breathers will light the bonfire at KENT LIFE on Saturday, November 8, before families can join in the countdown to the musical fireworks display. The award-winning attraction, near Maidstone, will be open from 3pm, with the bonfire lit at 7pm before the spectacular display kicks off at 7.45pm. Face-painting, water zorbing, children’s fairground rides and glow sticks galore will also be on show. Tickets £11, concessions £10, children £9. Call 01622 763936.

This year’s firework spectacular at LEEDS CASTLE will dance to the soundtrack of music inspired by animals of the world. For two nights on Saturday, November 8 and Sunday, November 9, the display – dubbed Go Wild – will be synchronised with moving images and music. Arrive early for afternoon entertainment including live music, a creepy crawly comedy show, animals and fairground rides. The castle itself will be closed to the public over the weekend but the gardens and grounds will remain open. Last admission is at 5pm ahead of the display start at 5.30pm. All tickets must be booked in advance online or by calling 01622 880008. Tickets cost £19, children £12.50. Visit www.leeds-castle.com

The answer: they’ve all been burned at the stake at the annual EDENBRIDGE BONFIRE SOCIETY fireworks display, along with a host of other celebs. It takes place on Saturday, November 8 and traditionally an effigy of a well-known personality is burned. Jeremy Clarkson is one name tipped to go up in flames this time around. This year will see a band play in the High Street from 6.15pm, with a procession beginning in Fircroft Way at 6.30pm. The main fireworks display starts in Lingfield Road recreation ground at 8.30pm. Advance tickets cost £6, children £3. Adults £7 and children £3 on the gate. For more information visit www.edenbridgebonfire.co.uk
