Think kiss me quick hats and sticks of rock - cartoonists will be setting up shop on the pier at Herne Bay this weekend for the annual Cartoon Festival.

Returning for a seventh year as part of the Herne Bay Festival, there'll be traditional seaside art to satirical humour in the making before your eyes on Sunday, August 4.

From noon to 5pm you can see professionals conjure up some caricatures and cartoons all afternoon as part of the annual festival.

There is also an exhibition running at the Beach Creative in Beach Street, Fly Me to the Moon, which is open daily from 10am to 4pm and marks the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.
