For something simple yet just as fun, head to Cascades Leisure Centre in Gravesend.

There is a range of activities for children within the specially designed Kids Zone, from trampolining to badminton or getting your skates on for a session in the roller disco.

Not forgetting the main event, there is Cascades, a beach style pool with a tropical 30 degrees water temperature.

Lots of fun is to be had as features include a small splash pool with a slide for toddlers and cascading water fall, water jets, mushroom fountain, wave machine and two water slides for everyone else.

A poolside café runs throughout the day and is a great place for parents to sit and relax if you don’t want to get into the pool yourself.

Other activities include gymnastics and football and a holiday playscheme is available during non-term time.

There is also a creche which operates every day for children between four months up to their fifth birthday.

Cascades offers a fun day for everyone.
