Kent’s Finest is a new semi-regular night showcasing talent that is ripe for national recognition.

Headliners Get Inuit will be powering out their indie-rock at host venue Ramsgate Music Hall on Saturday, January 17, backed by Mourning Birds with their spikey blues/garage/rock fusion, and Fish Tank who dabble in indie/rock/pop.

The night will feature bands that those in-the-know in music circles feel the public could be hearing on a much wider scale over the next couple of years.

The gig starts at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £7.

On Friday, January 16, Ramsgate Music Hall features Wooden Arms from 7.30pm, an alternative chamber music band featuring choral elements and a distinctive blend of classical instruments meets modern melody.

Tom Robinson of BBC Radio 6 Music said: “The band mix delicate piano with luscious strings and trip-hop inspired percussion to create something quite beautiful.”

Tickets cost £7.50. Visit www.ramsgatemusichall.com or call 01843 591815.
