Feel the wind beneath your wings for the Deal park’s first ever one-day Wind Festival.
On Sunday, August 6 the free event will celebrate one of Betteshanger’s defining features – the wind!
Visitors can explore wind-powered energy with colourful kite flying demonstrations and join in family activities and interactive workshops.
You can also make your own kite under expert tuition from Kent Kite Flyers for £3 or take part in a how to fly free session.
There will also be kiteboarding demonstrations on the cycle track and you can watch the kites in the breeze above the Festival Village and browse some stalls.
